Not only because of the loss they carry, but especially because of what people choose to do afterwards.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><em>An article by Ghent University was recently published about the family of Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric, who passed away in May 2025 from a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Their story shows how, even after a profound goodbye, family and friends found the strength to build something positive and continue his fight. <\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><em>Ghent University, March 16, 2026, University Fund<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span>What is less visible in that story, yet just as important, is the journey that came before. It is precisely there that we at Cum Cura had the privilege to work closely together with this family.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span>From the very beginning, we felt their strong desire: to create something that lasts. Something that not only looks back, but also helps move things forward. In close collaboration, we translated that wish step by step into concrete actions, grounded in genuine care, commitment, and human connection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span>What touches us most is the way this family shaped their story. Not \u05de\u05ea\u05d5\u05da fear, but from love. Not from stillness, but from movement. They chose to involve others in their commitment \u2014 and in doing so, something emerged that reaches far beyond their own loss.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span>This is what Cum Cura stands for: supporting people in vulnerable moments and searching together for what is still possible. Because even in the most difficult times, there can be space for meaning, connection, and hope.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span>We are deeply grateful to have been part of this journey with this family. Their commitment lives on.
