Warre was diagnosed with an aggressive, malignant bone tumor in 2022 (9 years) (ewing). A hellish and tough journey. Now he tells his story via a podcast and hopes to make the subject of childhood cancer more discussable.

The book “Hippopotamus for Christmas” is a biographical story of a father who writes about his son with bone cancer. This book does not avoid the difficult feelings of helplessness, frustration, anger. But throughout the story you will find the hope for a futureas a common thread. A book that a fellow sufferer can recognize themselves in.
